BIRT Training

Two new training courses from the BIRT experts

These two courses can be delivered on your premises and adapted to work with the applications that you want to report on to provide the most effective training available.

BIRT Introduction - 1 day

Our BIRT Introduction course is led by our experienced Business Intelligence specialists and is specifically designed to cover the main aspects of creating BIRT reports in a single day session.

By the end  of the  session  your users will be proficient in using BIRT to create reports with graphs, multiple tables, sub-reports and drill down, all based on your in house applications.

BIRT for Maximo - 2 days

The training starts with the installation of BIRT designer onto the delegate's own PC's so that they are familiar with the process of installing the software. This allows them the ability to install BIRT for Maximo in a real life situation once the training is complete. Next we run through all the configuration options to ensure that each delegate can access the centralised Maximo system from their own BIRT client.

In this training delegates will learn how to access and amend existing Maximo reports and how to create new reports from scratch and import them to Maximo. The training covers all the key aspects of BIRT report writing including formatting, grouping, aggregation, parameters, subreports, expressions, multiple data sources, drill down, charts and graphs.
