The most requested thing that people have been asking me about is a full download and installation guide for BIRT.
When I first learned of BIRT I decided to go online, download it and try it out. Being used to commercial software with full manuals and video tutorials and single click installations I was challenged somewhat by having to seek out and download six separate files from disparate locations. What’s more I had to download two of the files twice since the mix of installers I found did not sit well together!
Having been through the learning curve I have written a download and getting started guide for the complete beginner to save other people time and effort.
